About Us

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

THE CHURCH IN THE HEART OF

THE COUNTRY WITH THE WHOLE

COUNTRY AT HEART

Elm Grove Community Church started in the twenties, in the hearts of the people who met at a schoolhouse. After God's power fell with salvation and the Holy Ghost, the school board refused to allow meetings or services there. However, that did not stop the community of Elm Grove. The Dan Wells family donated the church ground and many people donated their time, money, and energy to build the first building.

There were many improvements and additions to the original building. In the early eighties, a beautiful structure was built for the glory of God. This was to be built debt free and building would stop when they ran out of money. The building did not stop.

Just as the final changes were complete, on August 28, 1990 the entire building and all of the old structures burned to the ground. It was the first time since 1928 that there had not been a church on the hill of Elm Grove.

Just a few days after the fire, the insurance company brought a check and rebuilding began, bigger and better than before. The new facility was dedicated in May of 1992.

Orville & Sherry White were the pastors at Elm Grove Community Church for over 40 years with a burden to see the entire community won to Christ.

In October 2023 we welcomed Pastor Charlie and wife Joanie Newman to Elm Grove.

When attending services at EGCC you will feel loved, enjoy uplifting contemporary praise and worship and be inspired by the Word of God. We believe it is not about religion it is about a relationship with Jesus!  We believe in the power of prayer and laying hands on the sick and believe they will recover.

We have Adult Bible Study on Wednesday nights along with Power House Kids for K-6th and Youth at the R.O.C. in Seiling for 7-12 grade.

At Elm Grove, you are a visitor only one time, and then you are a part of the family.
